An Ijazah is a formal scholarly authorization — a documented, unbroken chain of transmission linking a teacher's knowledge back through generations of scholars to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself. For Quran and Tajweed teaching, a verified Ijazah is the gold standard of authenticity — it means your child is not learning from a YouTube video or an uncertified tutor, but from a scholar whose knowledge carries a 1,400-year living chain of transmission.
